I agree with Livy that 1 lb a week is realistic and easier to keep of permanantly..
Slow and steady always wins the race.. keep up the fantastic work!!Wanna_B_slimmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12293337245411806885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6201047564459162438.post-90809400913649518002007-10-29T23:04:00.000+00:002007-10-29T23:04:00.000+00:00Hey Nona!I am down from a 26 to an 18 because of w...Hey Nona!

I am down from a 26 to an 18 because of weight training and the diet that I am on. I have only lost about 19 lbs so far since August.

The scale can drive you crazy, so if your clothes are fitting looser, go by that and not by the evil scale!

Congrats to you and keep up the good work!!Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10534079617865540609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6201047564459162438.post-91281115021243093972007-10-29T11:18:00.000+00:002007-10-29T11:18:00.000+00:00Remember Nona, the slower the better. This was a ...Remember Nona, the slower the better. This was a huge hurdle when I started losing weight. I wanted to lose as much as possible ASAP! It wasn't until it was explained to me (many, many times) that it's not fat we are losing if it is more than 1kg a week. My current trainer is MORE THAN HAPPY with a loss of .5kg(1lb) a week, as he sees this as realistic, and PERMANENT. We just have to keep on keeping on, losing that 1lb a week, for as long as it takes for us to get there. I too have 28kgs to go to get down to my goal of 52kgs. But, I am trying not to focus on that. Right now, I am trying to focus on just getting back into the 70s again. It felt great down there. (even if it was only 79.5!!
Did I tell you my friend dropped off my new elliptical trainer? Yay, we are now working out on the same machine! I did my first 30 mins today on the lightest tension (it's magnetic) and felt very sweaty, tired and sore afterwards. I am presuming it will get easier.
Kisses for you my sweet.Siennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14996261651645719451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6201047564459162438.post-9090867449135923622007-10-29T10:49:00.000+00:002007-10-29T10:49:00.000+00:00My weight loss is really slow too - but the exerci...My weight loss is really slow too - but the exercise and muscle gain (replacing fat) is changing my body shape faster than the weightloss. I haven't lost much weight, but my clothes are too big. I think it's one of the ways our bodies keep us motivated when our enthusiasm flags at the sight of the number on the scale (you know, the one that barely moves).Sayrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16350593991157139017noreply@blogger.com
