Yesterday I noticed that it was no longer dark at 4pm and today I saw some snowdrops peeking up above the brown soil. It may still be a long way off but spring is on its way. That makes my heart sooooooo glad.
I finally went to see my counsellor for an official weigh in and here are my updated stats:
- 16th March 2010: 94.5kgs/208lbs
- 1st February 2011: 71.7kgs/158lbs (3.2kgs/7lbs higher than my lowest weight last year of 68.5kgs/151lbs)
- Total weight loss to date: 23kgs/50lbs
- Total weight left to lose to reach goal: 16.7kgs/38lbs
Good for you! And thanks for adding the pounds for those of us who are metrically impaired:)
ReplyDeleteWay to go! You have come so far. This will be the year that you will get it done!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the loss so far! I've managed to get out of my tight fattest jeans and comfortably into the next size down, so there's progress being made. I have not gotten on the scale though. Trying to concentrate on being kind to myself. So far, it seems to be working, as even my husband has noticed that I'm a little bit smaller than I was...
ReplyDeleteCongrats on such amazing results. You've definitely worked hard. You will get to your goal. I believe in you. Thanks for your support. I really appreciate your virtual hug.
ReplyDeleteYou're more than half way there! Keep at it and we'll be here for support :)
ReplyDeleteMore than half way, ya gotta be happy about that.
ReplyDeleteI heard a story today (or is it an anology, that's not spelt right is it?, anyway) basically its goes something like - there may be a pile of sand in front of you, and you may feel like you are only shifting one grain at a time, but every so often you should glance back at the mountain that you've built up behind you. 23 kilos certainly fits my definition of a mountain.
As of today, I'm officially joining you on your quest to get to 55kg. A new series of Biggest Loser has just started again in Australia, they had the first weigh-in tonight and I've decided its time to get serious, so I've started Facebook Biggest Loser - which just means I will put my weight on my status update once a week. If that won't keep me honest, nothing will.
Thanks for following! I'm gonna join you, as I'm excited to read about your journey... your results are amazing!!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes... I love nut butter too, although I don't eat it much. Have you tried cashew or hazelnut? :)
Way to go! That is absolutely wonderful! You have to feel so amazing!
